Hotel Porto Cervo
Seven
jetties, over six hundred and fifty berths (and wonderful boats?) anchored in
crystal waters, Piazzetta delle Chiacchiere, Sottopiazza?
This is the
calling card of Porto Cervo that has 65 hotels, 8 of which are five stars, 12
with four stars, 4 with three stars and only 2 with two stars, obviously as
well as the B&Bs, apartments, villas, complexes and farmhouses and
beautiful holiday rentals.
Porto Cervo
flaunts wealth in every sense: villas, beautiful gardens, jewellers, boutiques
of the greatest designers in the world; in fact, this town has been built
around its famous ?piazzetta?, a fashionable spot visited not only in the
summer, but at other times of the year, although the boats that are moored in
the port, drawn from the most important shipyards in the world and owned by oil
tycoons, rich and famous personalities, sportsmen etc? give it a sense of
greater wealth.
Liscia di
Vacca, Cape Ferro, Cala Corallina, Cala Granu, only to name a few, are the
pride of the entire Emerald Coast - not to be missed!
From the
modern church of ?Stella Maris?, you can admire an impressive view across all
of Porto Cervo Marina, considered one of the best equipped tourist ports
nationwide. When you approach Porto Cervo by road, you can really admire the
little beaches with fine and white sand, like the Rena Bianca beach, Portisco,
before getting to the biggest and best known beach, such as the Liscia Ruja,
also known as the Long Beach, perfectly equipped with all the facilities and
rentals of all types also for water activities.
We must
point out the promontory of Capriccioli, blissfully characterised by two
beaches placed opposite each other. It is difficult to pick the most beautiful
between the two as they are both magnificent.
Fully
surrounded by an area of Mediterranean scrub and beautiful villas, we find the
Petra Manna beach (large stone) also known as Celvia, a strip of sand
that divides the entire area in two. Inching closer to Porto Cervo, towards the
Romazzino, after which one of the most prestigious hotels is named, you can
find the little Principe beach, reachable exclusively on foot, then the
Romazzino beach, up to the small and large Pevero beaches, from which you reach
the rear part of Porto Cervo Marina, in which many other little coves and
beaches can be found, such as Cala Granu and Cala del Faro.
Your
senses and in particular your sense of smell are warned: here the nature has
really gifted us with incredible beauty in these places.
